Opportunity :

We are seeking a motivated and curious individual to join our Executive & Professional, Financial Institutions team as a Summer Intern. This 12-week paid internship offers a deep dive into the world of commercial underwriting.

You will :

• Learn how to evaluate and underwrite Financial Institution with a focus on banks, insurance companies, real estate, private equity and asset managers.
• Gain exposure to the insurance lifecycle with a focus on management liability insurance.
• Collaborate with experienced underwriters and cross-functional teams.
• Participate in real-world projects that impact our customers and business.
• Collaborate with BHSI Interns across North America.

You will be part of a dynamic and supportive underwriting team that values collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning. Your work will directly contribute to protecting our clients’ assets and ensuring the profitability of our portfolio.

The base salary range for this position in New York is from $22 / hour - $26 / hour; a candidate’s salary is determined by their relevant skills and experience. We value our teammates – both their capabilities and character – as demonstrated by our amazing culture.
