You will lead the production operations in the Plant and delivering key performance targets (SQCDSM) in safety, quality, productivity, volumes, cost, sustainability, and organizational morale. You will ensure our manufacturing strategy is implemented and is fully effective, and you will strive to build a high performing organization.
How you will contribute
You will :
- Build technical capability in the electrical team
- Develop PLC (Allen-Bradley) and DCS (Foxboro) technical knowledge to be extended to the maintenance team
- Develop and maintain preventative maintenance schedules for plant electrical, instrumentation and control equipment
- Manage and maintain updated electrical and control maintenance documentation and resources
- Develop and maintain personal technical knowledge in plant electrical and control systems
- Develop & implement maintenance and inspection plans to ensure reliability, sustainability and security of electrical distribution infrastructure
- Ensure compliance to governmental regulatory OSHA and safety programs and processes
- Support electrical and control work performed by electricians and contractors
- Provide technical support for maintenance team during assigned shift and on-call support off shifts as required
- Ensure safe installations and operations through proper design, protection systems, procedures & training
- Coordinate with the site Safety Manager on electrical matters related to safety, power distribution, energy conservation, legal compliance, complaints, etc.
- Support and promote future efforts to effectively introduce and implement maintenance redesign initiatives to extend equipment life and reliability
- Coordinate with other departments to resolve electrical issues
- Work with engineering department to support development and implementation of capital projects and identify potential productivity improvements
- Comply with all current Federal, State, and Local government safety, health, and environmental regulations
- Support the Manufacturing annual operational plans and targets to meet Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Sustainability, Engagement goals in line with the site Compelling business need; coach Line Leaders, cascade & communicate the plans and targets to employees to ensure alignment and understanding around priorities, focus and KPI's
- Lead and be accountable to establish a strong governance to review, control operational performance and continuous improvement plan and embed a zero loss mindset to constantly improve and deliver against best in class both internally and externally
- Drive the Operating team to identify and manage improvements to technology, culture, capability and operating systems to deliver a best practice and reliable operation
- Support all Manufacturing standards, governance, compliance requirements (e.g., Corporate Quality, Food safety & GMP, Health, Safety, Security, Environment, Sustainability, Code of conduct, Policies & principles, Operational standards, Local legal requirements, Internal Audit norms, & other procedures updated from time to time) are in place, understood by all, and regularly reviewed and monitored for effective implementation
- Lead and be accountable for Talent, Capabilities & Engagement for the Manufacturing team — identify and implement critical levers to attract, retain & develop critical talent and build capability at all levels, technical and behavioral, to build a sustainable workforce profile for the future
- Partner effectively with all multi-functional peers internally & externally (outside the plant) to achieve objectives, goals and KPI's

Strong operational & manufacturing leadership experience in CPG industry with experience in TPM-Total productive maintenance, 5S, LEAN, 6 sigma tools and conceptsExcellent communication (verbal & written), coaching, and leadership skills in a team-based environment. Demonstrated abilities in analytics, problem solving and team buildingAn Engineer with a strong financial & business acumen, project management skills and knowledge of industrial maintenance and manufacturing equipmentEducation / Certifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechatronic / Electronic)Oregon's electrical license is preferredExperience in the Food industry. Preferable in Mondelez projectsProficiency in working with Allen-Bradley PLCs using RS Logix softwareUnderstanding of Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and server / client systemsExperience with industrial power & control circuitsExperience with industrial instrumentationExperience with industrial communication networks; Fieldbus, Ethernet, & ControlNetExperience with AC & DC drives Allen-Bradley & ToshibaAbility to read and understand schematics and electrical drawingsProficient troubleshooting skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work with minimal supervision and function effectively in a highly demanding environmentAbility to interact effectively with outside vendors, production operators, team leads, and the maintenance tradesMaintenance background strongly preferredTechnical supervision experienceEnglish / Spanish requiredWork schedule
Open to work on 1st, 2nd or 3rd shiftThe base salary range for this position is $95,100 to $130,800; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
