Job descriptionProvide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as directed. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate personnel as necessary. Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas within the location to help to deter unauthorized access and / or suspicious behavior. Document incidents, observations, and activities according to site-specific protocols and Allied Universal policies. Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to address concerns or questions related to security-related matters on site. Support Allied Universal's commitment to customer service and security-related best practices within a tech, media, and telecom environment. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Experience with alarm panels is preferred. Valid CPR and / or First Aid certification is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. Security Officer - Tech / Media Unarmed Patrol
As a Security Officer - Tech / Media Unarmed Patrol in Woodland Hills, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more.
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location to help to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and respond to situations as they arise, all while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. Mon 10 : 30 PM - 07 : 00 AM
Wed 10 : 30 PM - 07 : 00 AM
Thur 10 : 30 PM - 07 : 00 AM
Sun 06 : 30 AM - 03 : 00 PM
What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
