ITOM ServiceNow Testers

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow ITOM Tester to validate and ensure the quality of IT Operations Management modules within the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ServiceNow testing , particularly with Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and CMDB . You will work closely with developers, administrators, and business stakeholders to define test strategies, execute test cases, and maintain quality across ServiceNow ITOM implementations.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform functional, integration, and regression testing of ServiceNow ITOM modules (Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, CMDB).

Validate integrations between ServiceNow and external systems via MID Servers, APIs, and connectors.

Develop, document, and execute detailed test cases and test scripts.

Conduct end-to-end testing of data flows, configuration items (CIs), and discovery patterns.

Verify CMDB data accuracy and reconciliation results post-Discovery and Service Mapping runs.

Collaborate with development and platform teams to identify defects, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution.

Perform automation testing (where applicable) using tools like ATF (Automated Test Framework) or Selenium.

Support UAT and provide detailed defect reports, test metrics, and documentation.

Ensure adherence to ITIL and ServiceNow best practices in testing and validation.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

5+ years of QA / testing experience with at least 2+ years focused on ServiceNow ITOM modules.

Hands-on experience testing Discovery, CMDB, Event Management, Service Mapping workflows.

Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture and data model.

Proficiency with ServiceNow ATF , JIRA , Postman , and test management tools.

Experience validating data integrations via REST / SOAP APIs, MID Servers, and third-party monitoring tools.

Familiarity with ITIL processes and CMDB data governance.

Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.

Good to Have :

Experience with automation frameworks for ServiceNow testing.

Knowledge of Discovery probes, sensors, and patterns .

ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or ITOM certification .

Exposure to cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, Dynatrace, SolarWinds).

Education :

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Relevant ServiceNow certifications preferred.
