Are you a seasoned professional with a knack for maintenance, fabrication, and troubleshooting? Do you possess a strong background in the rubber or plastic manufacturing industry? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Permanent Maintenance Lead to join our team. This is a critical role that will oversee the maintenance operations, ensuring that our manufacturing processes run smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will be a problem-solver with a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of mechanical maintenance, and the ability to lead and inspire a team. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities :
As a Permanent Maintenance Lead, your primary duties will include :
1. Leading and managing the maintenance team to ensure optimal performance and productivity.
2. Conducting regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and resolve issues.
3. Performing hands-on maintenance tasks, including electrical troubleshooting, pneumatic repairs, and mechanical maintenance.
4. Utilizing your expertise in fabrication to develop and implement strategies for improving processes and reducing downtime.
5. Training and mentoring maintenance staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
6. Collaborating with other departments to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
7. Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
8. Using your bilingual skills in Spanish and English to effectively communicate with diverse team members and stakeholders.
Qualifications :
To be considered for this role, you must have :
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance, preferably in the rubber or plastic manufacturing industry.
2. Proven experience in fabrication, electrical troubleshooting, pneumatics, and repair.
3. Strong mechanical maintenance skills.
4. Proficiency in programming, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
5. Excellent leadership skills, with a proven track record of leading and managing a team.
6. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English, both written and verbal.
7. A strong commitment to safety, with the ability to enforce strict safety regulations.
8. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach.
9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
