Job Summary
- The Network Administrator serves as a network specialist within the Information Technology department. This role is responsible for setting up, configuring, maintaining, and supporting internal and / or external network systems across the organization. The Network Administrator ensures network performance, implements security measures, maintains disaster recovery plans, and provides user support. This position plays a key role in supporting servers, networking hardware, and related software applications.

Install, configure, and maintain LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, and intranet systemsEvaluate and recommend network technology solutions and upgradesTroubleshoot network performance issues and maintain network securityPerform system upgrades, patches, and application installationsAnalyze network utilization and optimize traffic flowMaintain and support networked software and hardwareCreate and maintain documentation and disaster recovery plansRespond to Help Desk requests and provide timely technical supportStay current with networking trends, practices, and compliance standardsKnowledge / Skills / Abilities / Expectations

Education
