As a Security Officer - Financial Institution Patrol in Winston Salem, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. Your presence and attention to detail will contribute to a secure environment for employees and visitors. Mon 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

Tue 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

Wed 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

Thur 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

Sun 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting security-related needs within the location
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial institution property and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues
  • Observe, report, and document any unusual activity or security-related concerns, following Allied Universal protocols
  • Assist with access control procedures to help to deter unauthorized entry to restricted areas within the location
  • Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and / or local authorities as needed during routine operations or incidents
  • Support a secure and welcoming environment through visible presence and adherence to site-specific policies

  • Availability across various days and shifts
  • Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
  • A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred
  • Customer service experience is preferred
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
