Early Career Geologist

Overview

WSP is initiating a search for a full-time Early Career Geologist for our Lakewood, CO office. Be involved in projects with our Earth & Environment Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client's objectives and solves their challenges.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a Safety-First focus.
• Conduct a full range of mining engineering and geology functions.
• Perform strategic modeling, design and engineering analyses duties, including interactive mine design and sequencing utilizing various mine modeling software packages. This will require working on projects with supervision and as part of collaborative teams.
• Work collaboratively with engineers and technical staff to develop the skills and procedures needed to effectively deliver engineering and consulting assignments.
• Continually apply a high standard of ethical behavior to promote and support WSP's Core Values and Culture.
• You will work with other WSP offices and clients worldwide.
• Complete training on assigned tasks.
• Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
• Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.

Compensation

Expected Salary (Colorado only) : $50,400 - $77,990. WSP USA reserves the right to adjust compensation based on education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and geographic location. This range may be higher or lower depending on circumstances not related to an applicant's sex or other protected status.
