Work Schedule : PRN
Pay Rate : $ 17.00 - $20.00 / hour depending on experience
JOB DUTIES :
Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, especially those requiring sitter care.
Observe and report changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition to nursing staff.
Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
Support nursing staff with non-clinical tasks such as transporting residents, restocking supplies, and assisting during mealtimes.
Follow infection control and safety protocols at all times.
Maintain confidentiality and uphold resident rights and dignity.
REQUIREMENTS / EXPERIENCE :
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous experience in a healthcare or caregiving setting is a plus but not required
Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with residents, families, and staff
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
Physical ability to lift, move, and assist residents as needed
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others.
Dependability and a strong work ethic.
Ability to remain calm and attentive in challenging situations.
