Position Summary :
We're looking for a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) who's passionate about early childhood development and making a real difference. You'll help children reach their physical potential through individualized therapy programs and age-appropriate techniques. This is more than a job-it's a mission!
Key Responsibilities :
- Support implementation of personalized therapeutic plans under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Assist in helping children improve motor function and physical capabilities
- Provide center-based and home-based services
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in required training
- Work professionally with colleagues, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Support a positive and inclusive environment for all children and families
- Travel locally / statewide as needed to deliver services
- Follow all safety, health, and documentation procedures
Qualifications :
Education & Experience : Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant ProgramLicenses / Certifications : License or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant with the New Mexico Regulation and Licensing Department : New Mexico Physical Therapy Board and work under the supervision of a licensed PT.Background Checks :General Background Check
NM Department of Health FingerprintingDriving Record (MVR)(Other federal-level clearances not required for this position)
