Qualifications :

  • Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering
  • PE License
  • 8+ years of experience in Civil Land Development (retail, residential, commercial experience with national clients)
  • Experience managing projects generating between $0$2 million in revenue

Day to Day :

Insight Global is looking for a Project Manager in a Civil Engineering group, youll lead a variety of projects across different sizes and complexities. This role offers a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment where you can grow your career.

Job Description :

Project Collaboration :

  • Partner with the production team to draft, review, and finalize preliminary and final site plans and construction documents.

    • Survey Data Analysis :

  • Analyze existing site conditions using project survey data.
  • Review legal descriptions, ALTA surveys, easement documents, and condominium documentation.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for data-related inquiries.

    • Mentorship and Team Leadership :

  • Provide guidance and support to junior staff.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient execution of project tasks.
  • Foster professional growth and development within the team.

    • Technical Reporting :

  • Prepare comprehensive reports, technical opinions, and recommendations.
  • Contribute to hydrology and hydraulic studies, project schedules, and storm sewer documentation.

    • Construction Support :

  • Deliver construction-related services and oversee junior team contributions.
  • Assist with permit applications and quantity estimations to support project execution.

    • Engineering Software Expertise :

  • Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and other engineering software tools to complete assignments efficiently and within budget.

    • Professional Development :

  • Engage in training and mentoring to build Project Manager capabilities.
