Job descriptionProvide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues. Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, trespassing, or suspicious activity, in accordance with established protocols. Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support a secure environment. Maintain accurate records and logs of daily activities, incidents, and / or unusual occurrences as required by the site policies. Remain alert to changes in the environment and communicate any concerns to the proper authorities and Allied Universal management. CPR and / or First Aid certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Security Officer - Unarmed Government Patrol
As a Security Officer - Unarmed Government Patrol in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents. You will remain highly visible, delivering outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment for all visitors.
