Role Overview :
Our Residential Treatment Center (RTC) provides intensive structure and support to emotionally fragile boys aged 6-16 and girls aged 6-13 upon admission, who are coping with various challenges. The Senior Residential Counselor is responsible for maintaining the therapeutic milieu's structure through nurturance, routine, and recreation. This role includes providing peer leadership to Residential Counselors, participating in team activities, acting as a liaison to recreation and education, mentoring and training in TCI and Life Skills curriculum, ensuring daily coverage within the dorms to foster a therapeutic environment, and assisting in developing routines and programs for the unit. Certification as a Therapeutic Crisis Intervention Trainer is required.
The rate for this role is $24.41 per hour, with competitive benefits.
