Master’s degree in School Counseling, Counseling or a related field, active School Counselor license and 1+ years School Counselor experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

School Counselor Raytown, MO Pay : From $46-$53 / hr, based off experience

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced School Counselors for a full-time role with a partnering school district in Raytown, Missouri. This district serves a diverse and dedicated student population in the Kansas City metropolitan area, known for its strong academic programs and supportive community environment. The counselor will play a crucial role in helping students develop the skills necessary for success both inside and outside the classroom.

Requirements :

Masters degree in School Counseling or a closely related field.

Current Missouri School Counselor Certificate issued by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE).

Completion of an approved counselor education program.

Recent background check and fingerprint clearance.

Responsibilities :

Provide academic, career, and social-emotional counseling to students.

Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address specific student needs.

Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support positive student outcomes.

Develop and monitor intervention plans and behavior supports when necessary.

Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and counseling activities
