Senior Business Analyst - On-Site

Location : Richmond, VA

Minimum 2 year Contract

Compensation : DOE$ / hr

About the Role :

An agency wtihin the commonwealth of VA is hiring a Senior Business Analyst to support the implementation and integration of critical law enforcement systems. This role is based full-time on-site at headquarters in North Chesterfield, VA and is central to transforming legacy systems into modern, cloud-based platforms.

You’ll work closely with their stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors to drive requirement gathering, testing, change management, and system adoption.

Key Responsibilities :

• Analyze existing systems, processes, and gaps
• Elicit and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements
• Create process flow diagrams, use cases, and traceability matrices
• Oversee test planning, execution, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Align vendor deliverables with agency requirements and deadlines
• Support user training and change readiness during rollout
• Serve as a liaison between internal teams, vendors, and external agencies
• Represent VSP in meetings and ensure solutions support agency mission
