1) POSITION SUMMARY
PACE Finance Corporation (PFC) is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Underwriter to join our Lending Team . Under the supervision and direction of the Loan Manager, the Senior Credit Underwriter will assist in the loan underwriting process, support loan guarantee assessments, and help with loan and servicing activities to ensure that all program performance outcomes and requirements are met and exceeded. The role may involve collaborating with other team members to meet performance outcomes, compliance standards, and lending program goals. When directed, the Senior Credit Underwriter may also act as a representative for the organization, helping to cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and community organizations. Perform underwriting for business loans, assessing risk, repayment ability, and compliance with lending policies.
Collaborate and prepare with loan counselors / manager to collect required post-loan financial reports and other documents to update loan files.
Provide administrative support to the credit and loan processing team, such as maintaining borrower files and loan records.
Represent the organization in borrower meetings, partnerships, and community engagements.
