Job Opportunity : Director, Laboratory Services

Location : On-site Virginia Beach, VA Area | Full-time | Day Shift

A leading healthcare provider is seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Laboratory Services to oversee consolidated hospital laboratory operations across a regional network. This is a key leadership role responsible for integrating pathology, transfusion medicine, point-of-care testing, regulatory compliance, and quality / safety functions across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead and manage laboratory operations across several hospitals

Ensure regulatory compliance and implement performance improvement initiatives

Build and support a high-performing, positive, and collaborative team culture

Drive system-wide standardization and integration across all labs

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree required; MHA or MBA in Healthcare preferred

Minimum 5 years of lab leadership experience in an integrated delivery system

Strong managerial and communication skills

Proven success in team building, strategic planning, and driving change
