Module Quality Engineer

Overview

We're seeking a Module Quality Engineer to support a newly launched solar panel manufacturing facility in Katy, TX. This role is critical to ensuring photovoltaic (PV) modules meet high standards for performance, reliability, and certification. The engineer will work onsite, closely with the production team, driving quality assurance throughout the manufacturing lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee inspections and testing of materials and finished modules
• Ensure compliance with IEC, UL, ISO, and internal standards
• Manage change control and validate quality documentation
• Lead reliability testing (e.g., thermal cycling, damp heat, PID)
• Support factory acceptance testing and continuous improvement
