Registered Nurse - Part-time / PRN (Weekends / Overnight) - Crisis Stabilization Unit\n\nCharacteristics and Examples of Work : \n\nMaintains documentation as evidence that all duties are completed in accordance with program requirements.\n\nMaintains proper training, continuing education, qualifications, and other certifications required for this position.\n\nProvides a minimum of five direct service hours per day.\n\nProvides oversight of assigned facility when requested by supervisor to ensure quality of medical and direct care services.\n\nEffectively communicates to peers and supervisors regarding consumer care.\n\nAssists in the performance of medical evaluations and screenings of consumers upon initial intake.\n\nAssists Physician and clinical staff with mental health evaluations.\n\nCompletes and documents consumer vital signs, weight and urine drug screen results as needed.\n\nProvides medication education and monitoring of physical problems for clients.\n\nParticipates in treatment team planning as requested by Supervisor.\n\nProvides consultation and education services to staff, consumers and significant others / family members.\n\nResponds to emergency contacts from staff regarding consumer problems.\n\nGives injections and other medical services as directed by a licensed Physician.\n\nAdministers medication and medical treatments following standard nursing procedures to Region 8 consumers as needed.\n\nMust adhere to the highest ethical and moral conduct in interactions with individuals and family members served.\n\nMaintains effective communication with consumers, families, supervisors and other staff members.\n\nPrepares reports, documentation and maintain consumer records.\n\nAll other duties as assigned by Supervisor, Clinical Director, and Executive Director.\n\nQualifications : \n\nMust remain Board Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Mississippi.\n\nMust pass a criminal background check.\n\nMust have a valid Mississippi Driver's License.\n\nReporting Supervisor : Program / Facility Director, Center Administrator, Center Coordinator, Clinical Directors.\n\nPositions Supervised : None.\n\nLocation : Mental Health Center Clinics, Schools or Crisis Stabilization Units as assigned.\n\nSalary : $30 / hr
