The Facilities Helper reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and is responsible for perform routine building maintenance duties, including painting, minor electrical repairs, plumbing, carpentry, and heating and ventilation systems maintenance, and keeping accurate maintenance records. The Facilities Helper ensures that maintenance requirements / needs are completed in a timely and accurate manner to maintain current production requirements. The Facilities Helper will use continuous improvement to remain proactive in identifying and addressing facility and maintenance related issues.
Essential Functions :
- Complies with all safety standards and regulations.
- Perform routine building maintenance duties, including painting, minor electrical repairs, plumbing, carpentry, and heating and ventilation systems maintenance
- Ensure sidewalks and driveways are maintained in a tidy, hazard-free manner by appropriately de-icing as necessary and cleaning
- Clean interior of the building, as well as machinery and equipment, and exterior of the building
- Assist Maintenance Technicians with minor equipment maintenance when required
- Assist / Perform minor fabrication tasks when required

Shift / Hours / Days : 1st Shift Monday- Friday 6am-2pm
