We are currently seeking a full-time Secondary Screener / Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at The Central Florida Reception Center located in Orlando, Florida.
The Secondary Screener will perform secondary screening and health assessments upon intake. Essential Duties / ResponsibilitiesAssist nursing staff in providing proper screening services for proper healthcare assessmentScreens incarcerated individuals upon intakeAbility to perform risk and health assessments and make appropriate referralsAbility to operates office equipment such as fax machines, copiers, and phone systems, and uses computer for spreadsheet, word processing, database management, and other applicationsComposes, types, and distributes assessment notes, routine correspondence, and reports, as requiredCompletes forms in accordance with Centurion proceduresMakes copies of correspondence and other printed or electronic material as requestedCommunicates with the Centurion regional and corporate offices as requested and other sites, as neededMaintains paper and electronic filing systems for records, correspondence, and other material to ensure efficient retrievalMaintains compliance with all facility and Centurion policies, and federal and state laws, regulations, and guidelines including HIPAAOther duties as assignedQualificationsFlorida CNA licenseDemonstrated computer proficiency in Microsoft Word programsMust be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicableMust submit to and pass drug testing per agency requirements where applicableExperience in a correctional environment preferredBenefitsWe offer excellent compensation and comprehensive benefits for our full-time team members including : Health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance401(k) with company matchGenerous paid time offPaid holidaysFlexible Spending AccountContinuing Education benefitsMuch more.
