About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Experience : Minimum 2 years clinical experience required, with at least 2 years in Cath Lab.

License : Valid State License required at the time of submission.

Certifications : ACLS, BCLS required; EPIC experience preferred.

Must-Have : Structural heart experience and MacLab hemodynamic monitoring preferred.

Pre / Post procedure experience required.

Description :

Cath Lab RN position available for day shifts.

Average daily census of 18-20 cases per day.

Five procedure rooms, including three catheterization labs and two electrophysiology rooms.

Currently, one electrophysiology room is under renovation.

Shifts are 10 hours long, with start times of 06 : 30, 07 : 30, and 10 : 00.

Call obligations include one night per week and every fourth weekend.

Call team consists of four members, with a minimum of two RNs required.

The facility utilizes Philips and Siemens x-ray equipment.

Documentation is performed using the Epic charting system.

Candidates must possess experience in circulating and conscious sedation.

Telemetry experience is required.

Scrub experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Patient ratios during procedures are 1 : 1, and in recovery, they are 1 : 3.

Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretaries.

Common patient diagnoses include coronary diagnostic and intervention, structural heart cases, peripheral diagnostic and intervention, and cardioversion / TEE.

This position may require floating within the service line.
