Description :

ICU RN position for night shifts consisting of 12-hour shifts.

Required to work every third weekend.

The average daily census is 8 patients.

The unit has 12 beds.

Patient population includes strokes, cardiac cases, and high overdose cases.

Age group is primarily adults and geriatrics.

There is a requirement to float to various medical and surgical units.

Special procedures include central line placement, bronchoscopy, and PEG tube management.

Must have skills in arterial line management, chest tube assistance, and care of ventilated patients.

Experience with continuous IV sedation and titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips is essential.

Expected to manage severe sepsis, acute respiratory failure, and other critical care scenarios.

Will be responsible for interpreting dysrhythmias and ABGs.

Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is integral to patient care.

This role involves providing critical care to complex medical and surgical patients.

All travelers must adhere to compliance and operational policies.
