Our Client is seeking a motivated professional to work as a Direct Support Professional in the Newark, Bear, New Castle, and Middletown DE areas.
SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
- Provide supportive services for children receiving Transitional Living Services in various locations including residential shelters, detention, day / community services or the child's home
- Fill in as assigned for any aide-level position in Residential services
- Document all activities specific to shift or service activity
- Ensure compliance with safe work practices and maintain safe environment in compliance with established agency standards, licensing regulations, and generally accepted practices
CLIENT'S REQUIRED AND EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or its equivalent
- Willingness and ability to provide direct care and supportive services as needed
- Valid Driver's License
- CPR / First Aid Certification
- MANDT (preferred)
- LLAM Certified (preferred)
- Crisis Prevention Institute Certification (preferred)
