Responsibilities

Lead detailed acoustic analyses and prepare comprehensive technical reports and recommendations tailored to client needs in land development projects.

Develop and implement innovative noise mitigation strategies for diverse engineering projects such as roadways, rail systems, transit infrastructure, and industrial facilities.

Perform acoustic measurements, sophisticated modeling, and simulations using industry-standard software (e.g., CadnaA, SoundPLAN, or similar).

Collaborate closely with architects, civil engineers, and project teams to seamlessly integrate acoustic solutions into overall designs.

Maintain expert knowledge of local, state, and federal acoustics-related building codes, regulations, and standards.

Manage multiple projects simultaneously, overseeing timelines, budgets, deliverables, and ensuring client satisfaction and quality control.

Conduct and supervise site visits, providing hands-on guidance during the construction and implementation of acoustic solutions.

Serve as a technical resource on noise control, sound isolation, room acoustics, HVAC noise and vibration control, and environmental noise assessments.

Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous professional development within the team.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Acoustics, Architectural Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a closely related discipline.

8+ years of professional acoustics consulting experience, with a strong portfolio of land development projects.

Proven expertise in acoustic modeling and simulation software such as CadnaA, SoundPLAN, Aural, or equivalent tools.

Deep understanding of noise control, vibration isolation, soundproofing techniques, and regulatory frameworks.

Demonstrated ability to communicate complex acoustic concepts clearly to clients and non-technical stakeholders.

Experienced in managing project deliverables, client relationships, and multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced environments.

Proficient with sound and vibration measurement equipment and field data collection.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively.

Leadership mindset with excellent interpersonal skills, fostering a collaborative and positive team environment.

Self-motivated, with a strong sense of urgency and commitment to meeting project deadlines.
