A well-established Dallas architecture firm is seeking an experienced and licensed Civil Engineer to build and lead a new in-house engineering department. This is a rare opportunity for a driven Civil Engineer to shape the future of a dynamic company, take on meaningful leadership, and grow into a co-owner/partner role. Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and lead the firm’s new civil engineering department.
  • Oversee site design, grading, drainage, utilities, and stormwater management for large commercial and distribution centers.
  • Manage all aspects of project delivery, including design, documentation, coordination, and permitting.
  • Collaborate with architects and consultants to create efficient, integrated solutions.
  • Mentor staff and drive department growth as the firm expands.




Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).
  • Licensed Civil Engineer (P.E.) in Texas.
  • Minimum 7 years of professional experience, ideally in commercial or industrial development.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and related design software.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and client-facing skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for shaping a growing practice in Dallas.
