IMEG is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join our Civil team in Las Vegas, or Southern, California (Ontario, Anaheim and Pasadena) office . In this role, you will lead design efforts for moderate to complex municipal infrastructure and site development projects, providing technical direction and oversight to a team of engineers. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, deliver innovative engineering solutions, and ensure projects meet client expectations and IMEG’s high standards. Principal Responsibilities
Lead design efforts for the analysis and implementation of municipal infrastructure and site plans
Perform site assessments and generate detailed analysis and technical reports
Utilize engineering software and tools to create detailed designs, specifications, and calculations according to code requirements and IMEG standards
Interact with clients to gather project requirements, communicate technical information, and build strong client relationships
Provide in-process design reviews and implement IMEG quality control processes to ensure compliance with industry and client standards
Provide technical training, mentoring, and assistance in resolving field issues with minimal support from senior staff
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in civil engineering; contribute to research and innovation efforts
Prioritize safety and regulatory compliance in all engineering work, interpreting and applying state and local design criteria
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated project solutions
Participate in project interviews and presentations
Required Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Civil Engineering, or equivalent, required
Professional Engineer (PE) License required
10 years of experience minimum required, 12 preferred, in the building design consulting industry
Mastery of design techniques, tools, and concepts involved in the production of technical plans and specifications
Mastery of technical and analytical skills including proficiency in the Civil Engineering field
Strong training, mentoring and leadership skills
Ability to perform final quality control check in their area of expertise
Ability to sell work and develop client relationships
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to clearly communicate in both oral and written communication to individuals or groups
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Eagerness to adapt to new challenges
Proficient with MS Office Suite including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to travel up to 20% with occasional overnight stays This position is not eligible for sponsorship.

State of Nevada salary ranges : $98,000 - $163,000 and California Salary Range : $112,000.00 - $163,000.00
