Gift Shop Associate

The Gift Shop Associate is responsible in working closely with the manager in overseeing inventory operations of the gift shop. Responsibilities include training staff and maintaining monthly schedules for volunteer staff, monitoring inventory control and daily sales manifests. Assists shop manager in purchasing / buying responsibility.

Position Requirements :

• High School diploma with college level business courses preferred.
• Knowledge of merchandising and retail marketing preferred.
• Experience in retail, hospitality or service industries, especially not-for-profit enterprises preferred.
• Excellent customer service and supervisory skills with a strong understanding of overall shop operations preferred.
• Excellent computer skills and cash register experience preferred.
