Personal Trainers & Group Fitness Instructors

Position Summary

The University of Denver is seeking highly qualified and motivated Certified Personal Trainers and Certified Group Fitness Instructors. Accepted personal training certifications include NASM, NSCA, ACSM, ACE. Group Fitness Instructors must have their primary group fitness certification (NASM, ACE, AFAA) and / or be certified in a specialized format (Barre, Yoga, Indoor Cycling, Zumba).

This is a non-benefited position not to exceed 1,000 hours in a calendar year.

Essential Functions

Personal Trainers

• Demonstrate knowledge and experience through multiple different facets of training.
• Personal training opportunities include 1 : 1 training, small group sessions, club sports training, youth training, creating programming, InBody assessments, and more.
• Personal Trainers report to the Fitness Manager.
• Monthly fitness meetings are required.

Hourly Range

The hourly range for these positions is $25.00-$45.00.

The University of Denver has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information, but not based on a candidate's sex or any other protected status.
