ApolloMD is expanding its Emergency Medicine Physician team at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital in Elkin, NC (located 1hr from Boone, Greensboro and 45 min from Winston Salem). Hugh Chatham Memorial accepts board certified / eligible physicians with EM experience (we accept ABEM, ABFP, and ABIM). Join us FT, PT, or PRN. • $12,000 sign-on bonus per a 2-year FT contract.
• Elkin has countless miles of trails to walk, bike, hike, and run.
• Explore Pilot Mountain, Kayaking / Tubing on the Yadkin River, The Blue Ridge Parkway, and a plethora of amazing golf courses.
• Elkin is also centrally located in the Yadkin Valley Wine Region (AVA) and provides numerous local wineries, breweries, and restaurants to try.
• Hospital volumes are 30K annually, seeing an approximate average of 1.6 patients per hour with support from Advanced Practice Clinicians
• 1 hour from an international airport (GSO in Greensboro or CLT in Charlotte).
