Children’s Theatre of Charlotte seeks an extremely confident, personable, reliable and kind individual to serve as an ambassador to our patrons.
House managers are responsible for controlling the front of house, ensuring that our audience has a safe, relaxed and pleasant experience in the theatre.
Our house managers will work closely with Stage Managers, Volunteer Ushers, Security and Library Staff to coordinate all front of house activity.
Start Date on or about August 22, 2022
Weekend Public Performance House Manager
Fridays : 6 : 00 pm 9 : 30 pm
Saturdays : 10 : 00 a.m. 1 : 00 pm and 2 : 00 pm 5 : 00 pm
Sundays : 1 : 00 pm 5 : 00 pm
Wage : $12.50 an hour
Requirements :

- You have the keen ability to scan the horizon, discern the details in order to ensure that the front of house environment is pleasant, safe and inviting.

- You have a strong work ethic with excellent verbal communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Excel (with knowledge of live theatre being a plus).
- A collaborative and kind spirit and can thrive in a team environment.
Responsibilities and Duties...
- Prepare all front of house reports.
- Maintains front of house operations preparing theatre and front lobby to be tidy, organized, secure and welcoming.
- Manage and supervise volunteer ushers, working closely alongside stage management, box office, security and ImaginOn Library staff.
