Downstream Product Manager, NPWT

The Downstream Product Manager, NPWT, is responsible for leading and supporting global commercialization, lifecycle management, and marketing execution for NPWT products. This role translates global strategy into actionable marketing plans, drives launch excellence, and partners closely with regional marketing, sales, and other cross-functional teams to ensure consistent execution and profitable growth globally. The position plays a key role in maximizing global performance for the portfolio of products by driving awareness, adoption, and differentiation in the market.

Responsibilities include the following :

Global Product & Brand Execution

  • Develop and implement global marketing plans in alignment with portfolio and business strategy
  • Manage product lifecycle from launch to rationalization
  • Ensure consistent global brand and product positioning, messaging, and value propositions
  • Partner with Upstream Marketing to lead global commercialization planning activities for new products, including monitoring post-launch performance

Performance Tracking

  • Partner with Strategic Marketing team to analyze market trends, share performance, and pricing dynamics to inform strategy and financial forecasting
  • Lead business performance reviews, presenting results, insights, and forward plans
  • Establish dashboards and KPIs that track both commercial and financial performance at the product level
  • Support annual business planning, forecasting, and budget development
  • Region and Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Partner with regional marketing, sales, operations, and finance teams to ensure alignment on targets and execution plans
  • Collaborate with clinical, medical affairs, and regulatory teams to ensure evidence generation supports commercial claims and pricing strategies
  • Work with supply chain and operations to manage cost of goods, product supply, and lifecycle profitability
  • Your Skills and Expertise

    To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Business Management, or business discipline AND seven (7) years of progressive experience in marketing or commercial leadership roles
  • In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required :

  • Proven P&L management experience (full or significant business unit / portfolio accountability)
  • Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include :

  • Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, Economics, or related field)
  • Experience in healthcare, medical devices, or other regulated industries
  • Knowledge of the advanced wound care market, including negative pressure wound therapies
  • Ability to thrive in an action-oriented and high accountability environment Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical ability and financial acumen, with a track record of collaborating cross-functionally to deliver actionable recommendations
  • Demonstrated success driving profitable growth and executing complex go-to-market strategies globally
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and storytelling ability; with experience presenting to senior leadership
  • Work location : Remote

    Travel : 30% domestic and international
