Data Entry Coordinator I
Under moderate supervision, the Data Entry Coordinator I transcribes clinical research data correctly from source documents to electronic data capture following ALCOA-C principles. Essential responsibilities and duties include : ensuring timely data entry through department and study tracking, maintaining healthy professional relationships with Clinical Operations, Quality, Regulatory, CROs, Sponsors, and other key clinical trial personnel, transcribing data accurately and efficiently from source documents to electronic data capture, assisting in preparing for internal and external data audits along with the clinical operations / quality / and regulatory teams, completing training and obtaining applicable certificates and access to CRFs / EDC, verifying source documents (e.g., "buddy check"), assisting CRCs in entering data from paper source documents to eCRFs correctly, accurately, and on a timely manner for multiple clinical trials, supporting and ensuring strictest adherence to best practices, FDA Code of Federal Regulations, ICH (International Conference on Harmonization), GCP (Good Clinical Practices), CenExel standard operating procedures, site working practices, protocol, and company guidelines and policies, and assuming other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Additional skills and qualifications include : willingness to learn, eager, career-minded, minimum high school graduate or equivalent, one year of data entry or related preferred, excellent computer skills and medical / research terminology, self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision, motivated to work consistently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment, and able to manage multiple projects and responsibilities.
The pay range for this position is $35360.00 - $41600.00 / yr. Benefits package available. Client observes 7 holidays annually including : New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, the day after Thanksgiving, & Christmas.
