The Senior Payroll & Benefits Analyst leads payroll and benefits operations with a focus on compliance, analytics, and process improvement. This role ensures accurate and timely payroll processing, manages complex benefits programs, and provides advanced reporting and insights to support strategic HR decisions. Responsibilities include system integration, compliance audits, ACA and 401(k) reporting, and vendor management.

Beyond day-to-day operations, you'll contribute to HR projects that enhance employee engagement and wellness programs. Success in this position requires precision, discretion, and the ability to balance routine tasks with strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

• Process full-cycle payroll processing and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
• Manage benefits administration including health, dental, vision, life, disability, and retirement plans
• Lead ACA reporting, COBRA administration, and ERISA compliance
• Perform reconciliations for payroll, benefits, and 401(k) contributions
• Develop and deliver payroll and benefits analytics, dashboards, and variance reports
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency
• Support HRIS and timekeeping system integrations and troubleshoot data feeds
• Coordinate annual open enrollment and vendor file transmissions
• Prepare and review payroll tax filings and year-end reporting (W-2, 1095-C)
• Provide guidance on compliance audits and assist with internal / external audits
