As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you'll play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care during diagnostic and interventional procedures. Join our team if you're passionate about patient care and eager to collaborate with others.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Operate imaging equipment and produce radiographs in compliance with established protocols.
  • Assist the radiologist or physician during interventional procedures.
  • Ensure proficiency in all equipment in the Interventional Suite.
  • Maintain a sterile field and demonstrate sterile technique during procedures.
  • Prepare patients and the procedure room while managing various equipment components.
  • Act as the circulator during procedures, ensuring continued communication with patients and team members.
  • Provide quality patient care throughout procedures, explaining what to expect and ensuring their understanding.
  • Manage puncture sites and supply levels effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with established sedation policies.
  • Qualifications :

  • Minimum of two years' experience as a Radiology Technologist in an acute care environment.
  • 1-2 years of experience as an Interventional Technologist is preferred.
  • Graduated from an accredited Radiology educational program or its equivalent.
  • Hold an Associate's Degree or higher in Radiologic Technology.
  • Current Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) certification with Texas Medical Board.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification in accordance with healthcare policy.
  • Cerification in Radiology and Vascular Interventional Radiology by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
