As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you'll play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care during diagnostic and interventional procedures. Join our team if you're passionate about patient care and eager to collaborate with others.

Key Responsibilities :

Operate imaging equipment and produce radiographs in compliance with established protocols.

Assist the radiologist or physician during interventional procedures.

Ensure proficiency in all equipment in the Interventional Suite.

Maintain a sterile field and demonstrate sterile technique during procedures.

Prepare patients and the procedure room while managing various equipment components.

Act as the circulator during procedures, ensuring continued communication with patients and team members.

Provide quality patient care throughout procedures, explaining what to expect and ensuring their understanding.

Manage puncture sites and supply levels effectively.

Ensure compliance with established sedation policies.

Qualifications :

Minimum of two years' experience as a Radiology Technologist in an acute care environment.

1-2 years of experience as an Interventional Technologist is preferred.

Graduated from an accredited Radiology educational program or its equivalent.

Hold an Associate's Degree or higher in Radiologic Technology.

Current Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) certification with Texas Medical Board.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification in accordance with healthcare policy.

Cerification in Radiology and Vascular Interventional Radiology by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
