Job descriptionImplement strategies for immutable backups, segmented recovery environments, and zero-trust principles. Ensure compliance with organizational cyber recovery governance and frameworks (e.g., NIST). Optimize backup and restore workflows for large-scale environments using Cloud Scale elasticity. Validate SLA adherence and cost efficiency through automated resource scaling. Work closely with security, cloud engineering, and data protection teams to align architecture with business continuity goals. Produce comprehensive documentation including LLD diagrams and descriptions Technical Expertise Proficiency in NetBackup Alta and Cloud Scale Technology for cloud-native backup orchestration. Strong knowledge of Cohesity DataProtect for enterprise backup and cyber recovery. Architecture and Design Proven ability to design air-gapped vaults, immutable storage, and secure recovery workflows. Familiarity with containerization and Kubernetes orchestration for backup services. Cyber Resilience Understanding of Cyber Recovery vs Disaster Recovery principles and timelines. Experience implementing zero-trust security models and compliance frameworks. Soft Skills Excellent communication and documentation skills for cross-functional collaboration. Ability to lead technical workshops and guide implementation teams. Experience with multi-cloud environments (Azure, Google Cloud Platform, OCI).
The Data Protection / Backup Architect will lead the design of a cloud-based Cyber Vault architecture focused on resilience against cyber threats. This role requires deep expertise in modern data protection strategies and backup technologies, with a strong emphasis on AWS, NetBackup Alta, Cloud Scale Technology, and Cohesity DataProtect. The architect will be responsible for creating low-level designs (LLD) that align with enterprise security frameworks and operational requirements.

- Architect and Design
- Develop detailed low-level designs for a cloud-based Cyber Vault leveraging NetBackup and / or Cohesity services and security best practices.
- Integrate NetBackup Alta powered by Cloud Scale Technology for scalable, containerized backup orchestration.
- Design immutable storage and air-gapped vault configurations using NetBackup Alta powered by Cloud Scale Technology and / or Cohesity DataProtect for ransomware resilience.
