Support Staff : Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) assist with vitals, blood glucose checks, EKGs, and ADLs.

In-house phlebotomy team performs peripheral lab draws; nurses handle PICC and central line draws.

Experience Required : Minimum 1 year of recent MS / Tele experience.

First-Time Travelers : Accepted.

Weekend Requirement : Every Other Weekend (EOW).

Certifications Required : BLS (AHA).

On-Call Requirement : None.

Floating : Required within scope to similar units as needed.

Block Scheduling : Facility will attempt to accommodate but not guaranteed.

Local Candidates : Not accepted (must reside more than 75 miles from facility).

Pending License : Not accepted.

RTO Restrictions : Maximum of 1 week off during the contract.

Clinical Skills & Special Requirements

MS / Tele experience including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.

Competent with : IV insulin and heparin protocols

Feeding tube care and management

Blood product administration

Peripheral line care

Cardiac drips (no titration)

PCA pumps

Ortho trauma and total joint replacements

Chest tubes (Emerson / Pleur-evac)

External CPAP / BIPAP, HFNC

Tracheostomy and wound care (including wound vacs)

Patient Diagnoses : Osteoarthritis, fractures, and various post-operative conditions.

Charting System : Epic preferred
