Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician with strong sterile pounding and TPN experience to join a specialty pounding pharmacy in Elk Grove, CA. This facility focuses exclusively on preparing and shipping TPNs nationwide, offering a unique and rewarding setting for skilled technicians.

Position Details :

Location : Elk Grove, CA (Sacramento area)

Start : ASAP

Duration : 13 weeks, with potential for contract-to-hire

Schedule : Monday Friday, 8 : 30 AM 5 : 00 PM (flexibility required for later start / end times as operations expand)

Responsibilities :

Perform sterile pounding of TPNs in pliance with USP

standards

Ensure accuracy and sterility of all pounded preparations

Maintain a cleanroom environment and follow all established procedures for aseptic technique

Work collaboratively with pharmacists and other team members to meet patient needs

Support inventory control and documentation requirements

Qualifications :

Active California Pharmacy Technician license required

PTCB certification highly preferred

Proven experience with IV pounding and TPNs (required)

Prior experience with CPR+ software strongly preferred

Ability to follow sterile pounding protocols with high attention to detail
