Position Summary : The Software Engineer I is an exciting entry-level technical position, providing installation, maintenance, and modification of software in support of MultiCare's websites and software development efforts. From application development and performing hands-on coding to developing documentation, this role will offer you dynamic day-to-day work functions.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate to ensure seamless system integration across all applications, systems, platforms, and infrastructure within the global computing environment
- Troubleshoot and resolve system problems
- Apply object-oriented programming in C++ / Java languages, software development, maintenance and deployment
- See to programming, installing, administering and maintaining Application Server software in UNIX and Windows NT environments
- Document development efforts using technical documentation techniques including database design, application design and ongoing documentation of changes and modifications
- Use Software Quality Assurance (SQA) practices including constructing automated test sequences, unit, iterative, system, user-acceptance and integration testing procedures, error analysis and resolution processes
Requirements :

However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to : skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and / or education.
