Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (BSME) or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience with automotive interior components, materials, or manufacturing processes.
• Ability to provide on-site engineering support in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation).

Position Description

The Plant Vehicle Team (PVT) Body Interior Engineer will provide onsite product development support for the OEM Lightning program. This role is responsible for driving improved quality and first-time-through performance through root cause analysis, corrective actions (ICA), and preventive actions (PCA). The engineer will serve as the first line of defense for interior system quality issues, collaborating closely with design, manufacturing, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
