Base Pay Range

$200.00 / hr (equivalent to $400,000 / year for a full‑time 40‑hour week)

Key Responsibilities

Act as the CTO for one or more educational products, managing core competencies and enhancing business value through strategic execution.

Oversee architecture, technical strategy, and AI integration of our entire learning system.

Make decisive technical trade‑offs to keep products lean, scalable, and focused on student outcomes.

Implement generative AI technologies to automate and optimize engineering processes.

What You Will Be Doing

Use deep expertise in educational products to guide strategic decision‑making.

Craft technical specifications that prioritize simplicity, efficiency, and long‑term sustainability.

Basic Requirements

Profound experience and interest in data‑driven learning science.

Over 7 years of experience making critical architecture and design decisions on software projects, with application of architecture patterns and open‑source technologies.

More than 2 years of experience in design decisions involving cloud computing services, primarily AWS.

At least 4 years of experience in roles with full technical and delivery ownership of a revenue‑generating product.

Experience developing product features that leverage Generative AI.

Proficiency in using Generative AI to streamline work processes.

Working With Us
