Job Summary
The Critical Care - ICU Manager shares accountability for facilitating organizational and department goals using effective leadership knowledge, skills and abilities that ensure achievement of expected results for patient / customer service, employee engagement, financial health, business growth and quality and safety outcomes.
Responsibilities :
- Plans and implements the overall nursing policies, procedures, and services for a unit.
- Maintains nursing staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training clinical staff.
- Ensures that nurses are current in competencies, assessments, licensure, certifications, and other annual training.
- May provide direct patient care and is responsible for assessing, planning, and evaluating patients.

- Demonstrates the constant ability to prioritize and respond promptly to a changing workload.

Requirements :
- Current RN license within the State of practice.
- BLS, ACLS certification required CCRN, TNCC preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree of accredited nursing program or enrolled required within 1 year - Master’s degree strongly preferred.
- CSIC one (1) year of experience
- At least three (3) years’ experience in a cardiovascular, trauma, or neurosurgical ICU required.
- Demonstrated progressive leadership required Three to Five (3-5) years managerial or supervisory experience preferred
