Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant with at least 1 year of acute care experience for a 13-week assignment providing acute rehabilitation services.

Responsibilities

  • Position is in an acute hospital rehab setting
  • 100% acute rehab with no floating to other rehab settings
  • Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 : 00am to 4 : 30pm, with occasional weekend shifts
  • Patient population includes all types except pediatrics
  • Candidates must provide two professional references
  • Skills checklist and copies of certifications required for consideration
  • Local candidates are accepted with a reduced rate, subject to facility-specific radius rules
  • COVID-19 vaccination is no longer required
  • Position requires adherence to all acute care hospital protocols

    • Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of recent experience in acute care rehab is required
  • Current Physical Therapy Assistant license required if applicable
  • Current US Social Security Number and US address are required
  • Copy of driver’s license required
