Title :  Senior Mechanical Engineer - Artillery Vehicle

Location : York, PA

Pay Rate : $50-54.49 / HR

Duration : 4 months, possibly longer OR conversion

This position is 100% on-site in York, PA.

Creo is a MUST for this position

Summary :

The Artillery Vehicle Sr. Mechanical Engineer will have the responsibility to evaluate prototype designs and create production drawings (level 3 Technical Data Package) compliant with industry and U.S. Government specifications, support design reviews and meetings.

Skills Required :

• Create & maintain product parts, assemblies & drawings using PTC Creo modeling software.
• Perform complex engineering design, development, analysis, and product assurance tasks of limited complexity for assigned portions of a project.
• Solves moderately complex engineering problems which have not been clearly defined and may not have similar precedents available.
• Ability to review and drawings, and associated Bill of Materials (BOMs) and identify necessary corrections.
• Knowledge of ASME Y14.100 and Y14.5
• Knowledge of relevant military and commercial design standards.
• Excellent customer relationship and communication skills
