Job Description :
We are seeking a qualified and passionateSchool Psychologist to join our dedicated team in Hartford, CT. This is a full-time temporary position, covering the remainder of the school year.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students' academic and social-emotional needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective interventions.
- Provide counseling and support services to students individually or in groups.
- Assist in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Contribute to the creation of a positive and inclusive school environment.
- Communicate assessment results and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications :
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- Connecticut State Certification as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working in a school setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of individuals.
