Job Details

Title : Sheet Metal Technician III

Reports To : Foreman – Sheet Metal

Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience with mastery knowledge of sheet metal and dry side HVAC applications and design.
• Fabricates, assembles, installs, and repairs HVAC-related sheet metal products and equipment.
• Performs equipment startups and check outs.
• In-depth knowledge of dry-side commercial applications and design.
• Works under minimal supervision, handles complex issues.
• Documents work with paperwork and backup documentation.
• Current journeyman license or ability to obtain one.
• OSHA training; maintains high safety standards and mentors others.
• Experience with blueprint reading and layout.
• Provides leadership, coaching, and mentoring; may act as a lead or supervisor.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to multitask, follow up, and communicate effectively with customers and management.
• Physical stamina to stand long periods, lift / move heavy materials, and perform related activities.
