Director of Product Security
Our client is looking for a Director of Product Security to join their team at a well known SaaS company.
This is a hybrid role in San Mateo, California.
You will be instrumental in the implementation and development of product security strategy and roadmap for one of the fastest growing data and applications platform.

Responsibilities :
50% Leadership : SDLC and Product Delivery
- Provide strategic guidance, oversight and leadership for SDLC and product delivery
- Company-wide
- Assist in leading and overseeing SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) practices
- Security design and architecture
- Secure coding standards
- Security testing and remediation
- Perform application threat modeling
- Lead and oversee product delivery strategy
- Product security design
- DevOps and DevSecOps integration (CI / CD) security
- Automated product security testing
- Container security testing
- Disseminate security policies, standards, processes and guidance on newly identified security threats and vulnerabilities, and security industry advisories that may impact the development community
- Lead Product Security Incident Response Team (PSIRT)
50% Leadership : Security Architecture
- Provide strategic guidance, oversight and leadership for security architecture
- Company-wide
- Lead and oversee security architecture and design
- Web Application Firewalls and load balancers
- Cloud security solutions
- Availability (backup and replication)
- Network segmentation and defense in depth
- Micro segmentation
- Zero Trust Architectures (ZTA)
Requirements :
- 10 plus years cloud based platform experience at a large company.
- At least 5 years experience as a Director of Product Security.
- Proven track record of managing managers and building strong teams.
- Proven track record of scaling products and platforms.
- Proven track record of influencing buy in with VP's and other executives.
