Material Handler

The Material Handler will be responsible for picking, packing of warehouse goods and meeting customer requirements

What you will do :

• receiving and processing incoming goods
• picking and filling orders from stock
• packing and shipping orders, and / or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse
• consolidating partial pallets, shrink wrapping and moving completed pallets to shipping lanes
• following established policies and procedures aimed at keeping the goods in excellent condition
• maintaining safety standards
• completing paperwork completely and promptly
• assist with inventory cycle count, monthly count and daily reconciliations
• cross-train, as needed, to learn other warehouse functions
• housekeeping tasks of warehouse and other duties as assigned by management

What you bring :

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including overtime and weekends
• Attention to detail
• Take ownership of assigned tasks and complete in a timely manner
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. while using safe lifting techniques
• Prior experience with voice-pick, a strong plus
• May be required to hold a certificate for safe driving and operating of material handling equipment, such as forklifts, cherry pickers and electric pallet jacks

Physical Demands :

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to handle objects, or controls;

reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and talk or hear.

The employee must be able to lift and / or move items up to 15-25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

This position is Full-Time : 40 hours per week @ $16.50 per hour. MNX Global Logistics will award all qualified candidates hired as of July 1, 2021 with a $1000 USD sign-on / retention bonus.

The bonus will be distributed in two equal payments to the hired candidate that is active at the time of payout. The first payment of $500 will be distributed following the hired candidates successful completion of 90 days.

The second payment of $500 will be distributed after the hired candidate has completed six months of continuous service.
