We are seeking a porter / dishwasher to support the overall cleanliness, efficiency, and safety of our kitchen operations. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, including thorough cleaning of floors, surfaces, and equipment, as well as performing light maintenance tasks to support daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the kitchen area is clean and organized, including floors, countertops, and cooking equipment.
• Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize soiled dishes, utensils, and cookware. Sort and store clean dishes properly.
• Dispose of waste and recyclables according to established procedures. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of waste disposal areas.
• Assist with cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment and appliances.
• Perform additional cleaning tasks as needed, such as mopping floors, cleaning surfaces, and restocking supplies.
• Assist with general kitchen cleaning tasks to uphold hygiene and sanitation standards.
• Keep the dish area free of clutter and organized to facilitate smooth operations and ensure easy access to necessary items.
• Perform light maintenance duties, such as replacing light bulbs, tightening loose fixtures, minor equipment adjustments, unclogging drains, and reporting larger maintenance issues to management.
• Support facility upkeep by ensuring storage areas, hallways, and common spaces are tidy and hazard-free.

Schedule : Full Time, On-Site

Hourly Rate : $18.00
