Computer Vision Scientist

A company is looking for a Computer Vision Applied Scientist to join their AI team.

Key Responsibilities

Develop smart geospatial algorithms for real-time environmental risk awareness using cameras and satellites

Own deep learning models to differentiate and track wildfires, including 3D localization and spread prediction

Enhance model performance and real-time processing by combining sensor data and utilizing existing domain knowledge

Required Qualifications

PhD or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or related field with a focus on computer vision or geospatial AI

At least 2 years of industry experience in computer vision and foundational vision models

Strong Python coding skills, particularly with PyTorch

Experience working with geospatial data, GIS, or remote sensing is preferred

Experience with cloud systems is a plus
